I’d bin the rice and freeze the rest. Google freezing rice for explanations why.

I would have thought having something to offer that people want or need is step 1.

Frankly, I can put up with a bit of poor communication if the product is OK.

I’m not buying call centre time or web developer time.

A small number of people suffer pain either from reaction to the monomers in the resin, also the shrinkage on curing can put stress on the tooth.

I always just assumed Sheffield was a fairly boring ex-steel town somewhere in England. This guy looks cool though. He looks a lot less stupid with the sombrero than most Lord Mayors when they dress up in their robes and chains. As a ceremonial role where he’s supposed to be getting Sheffield some publicity, he’s doing a good job.

@jo thats really not the point. If a stranger in the park has a sticky fingered snotty toddler it won’t hurt me if he or she runs up to me and says hello and wipes their fingers on me.

However it might not be enjoyable for me and so we should train toddlers and dogs not to run up to strangers to say hello without checking if that is OK.

If they can’t do that then as an adult it is our responsibilty to hold the child by the hand or use reins. Similarly with a dog keep them on a lead or away from other people.

Unlikely it will be checked. If it does come up just say around 15k was paid as an annual bonus based on performance. P45 doesn’t cover bonus payment dates etc.

I can’t tell if you’re being serious?!! I’d hate my parents to make my decisions for me as they’d make decisions that suited them but would most likely not suit me. If I left it to them I’d be driving a boring car, towing a caravan and enjoying gardening. Oh wait …

Thank you I’ve read plenty of articles on it but can’t get the Urban Dictionary to open today for some reason.

That’s interesting and a fairly plausible as an explanation but I think that a) life expectancy is beginning to decrease once again and b) do humans really adapt that quickly to what is likely to happen in the future? I suppose if you were guaranteed to live to 150 then putting off doing the ‘boring stuff’ until your 40s would make sense but it must be hard to visualise yourself at that age and to act accordingly, no?

I agree that there is a lot of boring but necessary stuff to do when you are an adult but I’d rather I had control over it than let my parents do it for me

Try dental tape, much thinner than floss so easier to use if your mouth is overcrowded.
